Description
Start growing your own Green Onions from seed in your own garden at home. Add them to salads or eat them right out of the garden. Green onions are milder tasting than large onion bulbs. Many people add green onions to salads and other dishes. Once harvested from your garden you can store them in your fridge for up to 5 days in your vegetable crisper section. Many people after harvest sometimes freeze their green onions by chopping them in small pieces and placing them in a ziplock bag. This is one way to preserve your harvest and have green onions all winter long. Another form of storage people often do is dehydrate them which will last even longer.
Whatever you decide to do with your fresh green onions grown from your own backyard, you'll love the great fresh taste they bring to salads, dishes and much more.
