Blue Lake 274 Green Bush Bean seeds is a high yielding bush bean variety with incredible flavour. It was first developed in 1961 and is an old favourite among gardeners. These green bean plants grow about 18" tall and produce an abundance of 5"-6" long green beans. This variety has great flavour, produce large yields and it also has great disease resistance. It's a popular easy to grow variety especially for canning since the crop matures all at once over a several week period. Lastly for a continued crop with succession planting every few weeks you can harvest fresh green beans all summer. Ready to harvest in just 55 days.

Growing Green Bush Beans From Seeds

SOWING:

Direct sow seeds after the last frost. Plant seeds 6" apart at 1"-1.5" inches deep with 24" spacing between rows. No trellis is required as this is a bush bean variety.
